The project comprised the refurbishment of the atrium and reception of this office building in Paddington following its purchase by British Land.
The works consisted of the infill of the atrium reflection pool, new reception and atrium feature lighting, lighting control, and amendments to the security and entry turnstiles in the reception area.
The building was occupied during the works and therefore the works had to be phased to minimise disruption to the building tenants whilst still maintaining security to the building and its occupants.
The works were undertaken to improve the reception area and flow of pedestrian traffic through the reception and atrium areas, to assist in the letting of vacant floors within the building, which has proved to be very successful since completion of the works.
